Barely rained at all today. New car is way the fuck better to drive, holy crap. It feels a little more claustrophobic than the old one but that's really it. The brakes in particular are like way better, the car like actually stops very quickly when you brake, which my old car didn't. The brakes like worked, but they did suck. I also finally used the new controller, and using it honestly feels more like how I thought using the new car would feel. It's not bad, nothing is wrong with it, it's just different and something I have to get used to. I played a little Dragon Quest Builders. Game is fun but I'm not totally enamored with it. The game is effectively just Minecraft if it had a campaign and was top-down. And Dragon Quest. Also some of the default button binds are really weird, mainly the fact that confirm and cancel are swapped relative to a normal Xbox controller layout (i.e. cancel is on A and confirm is on B). It's like the button placement of a Switch game, as the face buttons are all swapped on Nintendo controllers when compared to an Xbox. There is button remapping but it's just weird.

Oh there was also a new Arknights event that started today. I don't really have a ton to say on it. I hope I don't get Shu, not because of any sorta dislike, but just because it would absolutely destroy one of my partners. I do kinda want Zuo Le though but me being an ass yesterday makes me very much not wanna touch the banner and just stick with saving for Wiš'adel.
